Long Beach Wedding Details
Every wedding – no matter how large or small – involves many details to be looked after. To make your planning easier, we have compiled this list of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special day. Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated wedding specialist is on hand to answer any other questions or concerns you may have.
Seating arrangements and room set-up
Most rooms can be set up to match your plans. We offer flexible seating ranging from eight to 12 guests per table. Hyatt Regency Long Beach can create a ceremony room, set in round or chapel style, if needed. Choose from any number of venues to find the one to suit your style.
Dance floor and risers
These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.

Our award-winning pastry chef can design your perfect wedding cake. Choose from a variety of designs, styles, and flavors. Our pastry chef is available during the tasting to discuss all of the details for your one-of-a-kind creation.
Gold Passport
Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Two points are awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5 p.m. Every 8,000 points earned allows one overnight stay to be used at a later date

Pricing
All food and beverage charges listed with the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Wedding Package are exclusive of current taxes and service charges. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required with the signed contract. Your final payment is due fourteen days prior to the wedding with a personal check. After that time, we will require a cashier’s check (due no later than 72 hours prior to the wedding). Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed. All prices are subject to change and are guaranteed six months prior to the date of your event. By California State Law, the sales tax is added to the total cost of the function, including service charge.

Food and Beverages
A final number of guests is required three business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater. Function rooms are assigned by the number of guests anticipated as well as a revenue minimum.
Deposits
A 25% (non-refundable) deposit and signed contract are required at the time of booking. Please keep in mind, your deposit does not apply towards the final payment. Instead, it acts as a reserve for any additional items which may be ordered the night of your wedding. Any unused portion of your deposit will be refunded via mail after the event.
Food and Beverages
No food or beverage may be brought into the hotel by the guests or persons attending the functions. All food and beverages will be supplied by the hotel. In the event you plan to bring in your own Wedding Cake there is a cake-cutting fee of $1.50 per person.
Linens
We have a variety of colors available at no cost to you. Tablecloths include White, Black or Ivory. Napkin colors are White, Black, Green, Navy Blue, Ivory, Red. We also have Ivory or White Striped Chair Covers with matching floor length Linen at an additional charge. Other linens may be rented from outside vendors. Your Catering Manager can inform you of the cost.
Decorations
Please keep your Manager informed of your decoration plans, as they need to meet the Long Beach Fire Department safety regulations. Arrangements for additional set-up time must be coordinated in advance with your Catering Manager
Coordinator
Security
The hotel requires that you hire or appoint someone who will act as your coordinator during your event. Please provide your Catering Manager with the name of your coordinator 30 days prior to your event.
Security
The Hotel accepts no responsibility for any personal items left in the Room, nor does the hotel accept responsibility for rental items or vendor equipment. However, should you be interested, your Catering Manager can arrange for a Security Guard at an additional fee.
Damages
The patron assumes full responsibility for any damages caused by the patrons’ guests.
